Hello pretty ladies! I am back with another lookbook after a long time and today is a very special one. Firstly this look is for Spring, the season of love, growth and positivity. And secondly, for the first time I created a look for a special event, The Nykaa Beauty Bar in Ahmedabad!

If you are a girl who loves her makeup and keeps her pout selfie ready, you already know Nykaa. Nykaa.com was one of the first websites in India to start online shopping for beauty products. Now I have been shopping from Nykaa for almost four years now and I couldn’t be more excited for the event. The whole excitement did add to the question of what look should I choose for the event.

So for the look, I decided on something comfortable yet trendy. I wanted not just to look good but feel in my own skin as well. So I went on with two pieces I collected from Koovs which were totally different than each other yet went well with the Spring theme. Pastel-on-pastel can be very tricky but anyway went ahead with it as I wanted to create a whole new look. Being a ‘Spring‘ theme in February definitely meant PINK for me. And I couldn’t keep my hands off the spring pastel baby pink shade.  I went for a velvet skirt as I am crushing over this fabric since fall last year and this was a pretty surprising color-fabric combination to go for. I love the ruffles layered top from New Look and the pale pink rose gold  watch from New Look as well. The cute baby pink satchel bag was added to make it more peppy.I added accessories which were adding more and made the whole look more over-the-top yet classy. Here are the details of my look:

Top – New Look
Skirt – BooHoo
Watch – New Look
Heels – Forever 21
Bag – MG Road (Pune)

For the makeup, the kept the look minimalist and soft with light pink shimmer eyes and a bright Pink pop pink on my lips. The contour and highlight was kept very subtle considering it was a day event and I didn’t want my face to look too made up. Winged Eyes are forever love and so I couldn’t keep that off. I also added a thick amount of mascara to open up my eyes as well as Kajal to define them.
