Lookbook: Serene Bengali Pujo Look!

Hello ladies! I am back with the fourth lookbook of this week and this one is dedicated to the Bengali girl in me! Diwali marks a very special festival for us Bengalis and that is Kali Pujo which is so much more to us than crackers and lights. Ma Kali, the divine goddess; the goddess of destruction of evil and the epitome of a woman’s strength is more than just a figure to worship. She is our inner soul, that part of us which comes out only during our endurance with worst; the core strength; the core us. And being such a believe of Ma, I could not help but create a look for this occassion. I may be a Probashi or a not-so-much- of a idol worshiper but my belief in god is much more deep than pretentious things. I believe in good deeds and purity of heart. Thus, for this look I opted something very close to my personality and my own name, ‘Shweta’; Sanskrit for ‘White’ & ‘Pure’. I have always felt very closely related to this color and the contrast between Ma Kali’s Black and the White in this look is something which was incidental yet ironic. This was my as well as my sister’s favourite look as of now and hope you all like it too.

Not going too deep now, you guys can enjoy rest of the pictures below:
