Hello folks! Today I will be unveiling my looks for this Diwali. Though a makeup tutorial will soon be up on my Youtube Channel, I decided to make a lookbook specially for the blog. This year I wanted a very comfortable yet classic look for diwali which I myself approve. Though Diwali is a big festival, I always like to dress very comfortably because of the crackers and movement around. No matter how much life has become more luxurious, I miss those childhood days when Diwali meant rangolis, vacations, assignments, spending time with family and friends, sweets, crackers and Kali Puja. Diwali marks the time for worshiping Goddess Ma Kali for us Bengalis and that used to be the best time of the festival. I wish I could bring those days back.
Anyways I really enjoyed this shoot a lot because it made me look into my own classic Indian charms once again! (LOL) which I tend to forget sometimes. This year for Diwali I have decided to spend in a more warm way with spending time with my family and loved ones and stay away from noisy pollution making crackers which do nothing else but harm the environment and the other living beings around. Diwali is a festival of lights, not noise and I would like to encourage you all to do so. Use less noisy crackers and spread love and happiness. That is what Diwali is all about.
